Welcome to the study dear visitor! Here is my space to practice and learn the ancient languages I have chosen to study. I plan to start learning at last two more, but for the more unusual ones I must wait until I am able to take up the courses in my college to have a good basis, as it is difficult to find resources for them online. Until then, feel free to look through the present ones.
Introduction
I started learning spanish in the first year of high school, so it's been a few years. I'd say my level's somewhere between B1 an B2, and because spanish philology is my major, I hope to get to a higher level soon. I plan to sometimes write in here whatever comes to mind,
As I've got a lot of time on my hands with my mostly undemanding spanish major, I plan to add korean philology to it to have more options after school. I've been interested in asian languages as a whole for a long time, but I hate the thought of having to learn the difficult writing systems of Chinese or Japanese, so Korean seems more realistic to me. There are also a lot of korean films and series I'm interested in, so it would surely come in handy.
Our college offers a course in Irish, which I'm very interested in, though I'll have to wait another year to take it because the next winter semester, when Irish 1 is taught, I'm going on Erasmus to Santiago de Compostela, where, frustratingly enough, I don't have the option to take any of the languages I'd like to. I got interested in it after I learned that my grandfather was irish, and started to search more about celtic languages. I'm a lover of a lot of languages that are spoken very little, sometimes almost dead, because they are unique and unlike anything I've ever heard, and conserve with them tons of culture and history, often pushed out of memory by colonialism. I hate the thought of any language dying out, so I'd love to learn some of these myself.
